Rules
and Regulations governing membership of the Alliance Française
de Trivandrum
-
All applications for membership are subject
to approval by the Executive Committee of the Alliance Française
de Trivandrum. In case the membership application is rejected,
the fees collected shall be returned as such. The Committee
need not assign any reason for such rejection and no appeal
lies against such action.

Every person who wishes to become member
shall have to be introduced by two existing members.

Members have to renew their memberships
within the allowed period of time (two months). Failure to
do so will result in expiry of that membership. Further, the
member can only take a new membership and not a renewal and
shall be subject to all the constraints of a new membership.

Members have full access to all the facilities
offered by the Alliance Française, subject to the usage
guidelines of such facilities.

Every Annual and Life Member will have
the right to one vote. Such member also has the right to be
informed of all meetings of the General Body.

Only members who have held their membership
for a period of 12 months or more are eligible to introduce
new members. Also, every member eligible to introduce new
members can give introduction to a maximum of three new members
during one year. (One year shall be calculated as 12 months
beginning from the date of taking membership/ renewal).
